MLK Jr. Week of Service - Community Book in a Bag
In honor of Martin Luther King Jr's birthday, please join VSUW as we assemble Book in a Bags highlighting the Civil Rights movement and help create Encouragement Cards and Bookmarks to include in the bags! These will be donated to nonprofit partner beneficiary 7th Dream Helping Hearts.
Martin Luther King Jr. was a social activist and community leader who, with his grand vision and voice, changed the lives of millions, and what better way to honor his legacy than to serve YOUR community.
Duties:
· Decorating paper bags to match the theme of a book related to equity, equality and diversity
· Placing the books in bags and packing up for distribution to children at local non-profits and schools

· This is an indoor event.
