Day of Action – Community Garden with the Orchard Learning Center
Day of Action is a time for us all to come together, roll up our sleeves, and give back to our community. Come join Valley of the Sun United Way for an exciting morning of gardening at the Brooks Community School site with the Orchard Learning Center!
About the Orchard: Located in South Phoenix, the Orchard Community Learning Center supports community by creating a flourishing local food system, and offering a wide range of educational opportunities designed to bring awareness to, and ignite passion for urban farming and community exchange.
You will be assisting the Orchard Learning Center with tree planting, rock moving, irrigation work, and the development of their new food garden!
