Join us at Peoria Elementary for "TAKING TIME TO REVITALIZE AND RECOGNIZE"! With the help of CCV small group & Zuri Circle, we're diving into a campus cleaning and staff appreciation effort that will truly make a difference. We will clean around campus, including the landscaping and write staff thank you notes. Let’s come together to show our pride and make Peoria Elementary shine brighter than ever. All hands and hearts welcome—let’s make it a day to remember!
WHAT TO EXPECT: Campus Beautification Project

Love Our Schools Painting and Cleaning: Paint Projects: repainting 4 square and other games on sidewalk areas on the playground and painting a wall area in the gym. Cleaning Projects: cleaning the cafeteria tables, walls, classroom desks, etc.

Love Our Schools Day Project: Faith North Early Childhood Learning Center

Faith North Early Childhood Learning Center Love Our Schools Day
The Sensory Walk Project will transform designated areas of our preschool campus into interactive, developmentally appropriate sensory pathways designed to support the unique needs of young learners, including students with disabilities. Using colorful, hand-painted designs on outdoor sidewalks and indoor hallways, the sensory walks will invite children to hop, spin, balance, trace shapes, follow patterns, and engage in movement activities that stimulate multiple senses. Each section of the sensory walk will be intentionally designed to target specific developmental areas—such as motor coordination, spatial awareness, balance, sensory regulation, and social-emotional skills. For example, footprints may guide students through a sequence of movements that strengthen body awareness, while textured paths and handprint trails will encourage tactile exploration and bilateral coordination. The sensory walks will serve as a universal support for all preschool students and a targeted intervention tool for students who benefit from structured sensory input to self-regulate and focus.

Our plan for Love Our Schools is to re-beautify our campus to make it a place where students want to be. We are encouraging students to play board games, card games, as well as sports activities. Our library and rec area is very out dated and needs to some beautification as well as help paint tables, move furniture, supply paint, etc.
